Giving Back to the Armed Forces Community

As well as employment support, each year, Macleod Roofing commits to offering one to two pro bono or discounted roof repairs for veterans or military families in need across the Highlands.

Whether it’s urgent repairs after a storm or a situation where costs are a barrier, we want to help where we can. This support is part of our wider commitment to community care and Forces-friendly values.

Not necessarily. A CV is helpful, but it’s not a barrier. Just get in touch, tell us a bit about yourself, and we’ll guide you from there.

Yes. We welcome applications from across the UK. If you’re open to relocating, we’ll support that conversation and do what we can to help you make the move. Many of our team have relocated for the right opportunity.

Most of our roles are full-time with Monday to Friday hours. Work is based in the Highlands, and we aim to keep teams local where possible. You’ll have a predictable routine, with early starts and early finishes common across the industry.

The majority of our work is local to Inverness and the Highlands, so overnight stays are rare. If travel is required, it’s agreed in advance and supported as part of the job.

Roofing is a physically demanding job, but we do have a range of roles including support, admin, and estimating that may be suitable depending on your circumstances. Get in touch and we can talk through the options.

Yes. We encourage development across a variety of roles from on-site to office-based positions. If you’re interested in learning new areas of the business, we’ll support that progression.
